FOOD GROUPS
We have all heard the terms proteins, fats, and carbohydrates but what do they really mean, what happens in the body when we eat them, and how does each of these benefit us? We explain the difference between simple and complex carbohydrates, complete and incomplete proteins, and differentiate between the various kinds of fat: trans, saturated, and monounsaturated. We believe that in order to be truly successful in this journey you have to know why you’re eating these foods instead of just knowing which foods to eat. Knowledge is power!

HOW TO READ FOOD LABELS
We all go to the grocery store and have a pretty good idea of what foods we’re going to buy. But how much do we really know about how these foods are made and processed? In this video, we will go over everything you need to know about reading food labels and understanding ingredients. We will discuss the term "cheat meal" and how to incorporate it into your week without letting it hinder your progress. In fact, we'll give you eight reasons why an occasional cheat meal could actually be an aid and catalyst to weight loss.

Eating out, no matter how hard we try, cannot be avoided forever. Whether were going out socially or simply on the run, eating out has become a staple in most of our lives. MOTIVATION VS. HABITS
There are two primary types of motivation - intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation means doing something for its own sake and for personal reward. Extrinsic motivation is geared towards external rewards and reinforcement, as well as sometimes escaping punishment. In this video I will explain the different types of motivation and how to apply them as you pursue a more healthy life.

YOUR LIFE AFTER THE PROGRAM
Good health doesn’t begin or end in 90 days. In our final video, we teach you how to take all the tools and knowledge you’ve learned throughout the program and apply it to your daily life. We will give you tips on how to dine with family and friends, with work colleagues and on vacation. We give you the low-down on healthy baking and how to slowly introduce more carbohydrates back into your life without overindulging. After 90 days we hope you will continue to be inspired to become the most healthy you have ever felt in your life!

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of foods will I be eating?
We will focus on eating whole, real food, the 42 day will include healthy sweets, grains, breds all in moderation. You’ll find a variety of vegetables, fruits, and complex carbs, such as squash, oatmeal, sweet potato, and legumes. The program also incorporates lean proteins, such as turkey, chicken, eggs, and fish, as well as plant-based proteins. Does this program includes detox as well? No, the 42 day is based on clean eating, very well balanced and doesn't start with the a boost like in other programs.
What if I have a food allergy or medical condition?
The program can be altered to accommodate most food allergies or medical conditions, however not all. We have a variety of different recipes and food options that will suit most dietary needs, but we recommend reaching out to us before signing up.
I am vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free. Is there anything for me to eat?
We have vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options for every meal and snack, as well as tons of suitable recipes.
Do I have to exercise in order to lose weight on the program?
Exercise is part of a healthy lifestyle. We definitely recommend some form of exercise. But when it comes to weight loss, 90% is nutrition.
Is this program safe to do if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
This program is great for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. We will make certain modifications, but overall, it is a wonderful diet to follow. However, we do suggest that you consult your doctor before starting.
I don’t cook at all and eat out mostly. Can I still follow the program?
While preparing food at home is usually the best choice, the program can still be followed if you choose to eat out. There are tons of healthy food options out there and we will teach you to order the right things.
How much can I expect to lose?
8-12 pounds / 4-6 kg
Where is the group managed?
The group will be managed on a closed Facebook page (available in English and Hebrew) with everyone that is in the current program with you. There you will post your daily food logs, view Karin’s videos, log in your weigh-ins, etc..
